Taradale Landcare is a community group working to protect and enhance the land and wildlife habitats in and around Taradale.
Our home is the valley of the Coliban River and its tributaries, the Back Creek and Kangaroo Creek. We are embraced by the broad expanses of Fryers Ridge and the Taradale Bushland Reserve. This landscape spans the Goldfields and the fertile Central Victorian Uplands bioregions.
Taradale Landcare works within its community to care for the biodiversity and agricultural health of the landscape. Through respectful discussion, sharing and participation we are on a generational journey together to become the wise stewards of this land.
We acknowledge that Taradale is on Dja Dja Wurrung Country whose ancestors and their descendants are the traditional owners of this land.
